Timmy

On January 8, 1999 we lost our Timmy, a little bundle of joy that pretended to be a Pekingese. Timmy was born November 26, 1990. He was a member of a household with 6 other canine friends and his mother and father.

Timmy could bounce and all four paws would be off of the floor at one time, he would yell to the top of his lungs, demand vanilla wafers and bits of bread, EXPECT you to pick him up when stairs got in his way (bad back and neck disc), protected ANYTHING fiercely that he thought or had any inkling that he may want, walk the parameters of our new yard that he just was able to enjoy since we moved September 1998 and generally kept the other canine companions in line.

Timmy was vulnerable and independent all at the same time. Most of our efforts went into protecting him but with all that we did we could not save him. Timmy went from a bouncing baby boy to death in five days without any explanation. An autopsy revealed he had a lung torsion and this was after spending four days in intensive care at VA-MD Vet School in Blacksburg, VA. He had x-rays, plasma, numerous ultra-sounds, chest cavity taps and every blood test known to man but we could not save him. His brothers and sisters are lost but his mother and father are completed devastated.

He was loved tremendously and with his HUGE personality, every room in our house seems empty without his little presence. Even when he was bad he was good, we love you Timmy.
