Thad, best friend for so long. I'm sorry to see you go. I wish that God let dogs live as long as their companions. Then I wouldn't have to do what I've dreaded for the past few months. You look into my eyes and tell me that you have lived long enough. You are tired and want to sleep. I know what I have to do. You will remain with me in my heart.
You have been through so much with me - some good - some bad, but you were always there with a smile on your face and a wagging stub. Nicole will miss you sorely. You and her grew up together. She was only 6 months old when you came into her life. You two were such a pair. Where there was one, there was the other. I don't know what else to say other than -
Thank you for the unconditional love you gave the family for so long. We love you and miss you very much.
