Angela's Austrailian Sydney (known to us just as Sydney)
The vet said Sydney's prognosis wasn't good, they didn't even expect her
to live through the night. She had contracted some type of blood
disorder in which her own body killed off it's red blood cells. We
brought her home and the next day she died. But at least I have her
puppy. His name is Trevor and he has brought me a tremendous amount of
joy, although he can never replace his mother, Sydney. My husband made
her a beautiful spot in our backyard and I visit her everyday. I never
thought I would feel this kind of pain over an animal but she was more
than that to me. She was part of my family and my life and I will
cherish her memory.

Loved and Sadly Missed by her best friend, Angela

Sydney was my best friend, a beautiful St. Bernard that I played and
laughed with. Her and I spent many of my sleepless nights together. I
could talk to her and I knew she truly understood me. And she was always
there for me, patiently waiting my arrival home. She had a litter of
puppies on September 11, 1998. Nine were delivered and only one
survived. Then about a week later Sydney became ill. She spent a week at
the vet's while I cared for the lone survivor. I took him to work with
me faithfully everyday and slept with him on the floor beside my bed.
