please add my two beloveds to your dogstar - i miss them so....

pookie was a big beautiful bouvier. he was my shadow, with a language all his own. he became ill on memorial day 1997 and was rushed to michigan state university where he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. two days later, after exhausting every possible treatment, my dear pookie was put to rest. i held him in my arms and whispered how much i loved him. he left me with a gentle sigh and a lick of my hand. i know that he awaits me....i miss you pook.....

bear was also a bouvier. i have had him since he was 6 weeks old - my big buddy, my protector, my best friend. in march he was diagnosed with a nasal carcinoma and underwent surgery. following surgery he had to go through 6 weeks of radiation therapy at msu. in september i noticed the change in my bear....the cancer was back, even more devastating than before. he remained brave, strong and proud to the end. the vet did me the honor of coming to our house to relieve my bear of his pain, and at 2 pm, my dear bear left me peacefully, as i whispered i love you in his ear. my heart is with you bear.....run free with pook.....i will see you again one day.
