Honey was a very special girl who filled a large part of our lives. She was born on November 11, 1987 in Sacramento, CA. Words can't describe what she meant to us. She was our only "child" for several years. Honey was with us through good times and bad.......always there with a tender kiss and a gentle wag of her short tail. When we had our two boys, she was their protector. Honey's health had started to fail during the past two years. She was diagnosed with cancer and kidney failure. Ending her life was the hardest decision that I've ever had to make. We couldn't watch her suffer any longer. We took her bed and blanket to the vet clinic because I wanted her to be comfortable in her final moments. We stood beside her until the end and we buried her beneath her favorite tree. I didn't think losing a pet would be so difficult. Although I've had several dogs during my life, Honey was something very special. She was always "Daddy's girl".
