Guinness
In Memory of our Brown Dog
Guinness was undeniably a one in a million dog who has filled
our lives with so much happiness. She truly was one of the
family and she is so deeply missed. We will miss her kind amber eyes
and curly dark chocolate hair. We'll miss the touch of her wet
nose to your hand while you sleep on the couch. We will miss coming
home to her wiggle waggle tail and 'dog' smiling face.
We will miss her constant presence for 14 years at home. In truth, we will
miss everything about her and she will never be
forgotten.
Since she went to heaven to become an angel, there has been a
void, an emptiness in our hearts. Even though she may not
live in our world, and her absence pains us, she will live on in our hearts
because we will always have memories of her. Memories of
her as a sweet puppy on the first day home when she scared herself and
jumped straight for Jon's arms. Memories of our happy
water dog swimming and chasing rocks with her family at the blue hole.
Memories of her becoming the best mother to the sweetest
lab puppies, even the ' hairless ' one. Memories of her being the only dog
in the world who was a kitty friend. Memories of her
sweet face, gentle ways and her loving demeanor.
Guinness was THE best brown dog, a cherished family member
and she will live on in our hearts forever.
