Buddie

this is buddie... buddie had a difficult start in life, a family he got too big for and who gave him a lonely room by himself. i got him at age 5, a big, black, goofy smile of a dog. he was wonderful. so thankful every day for the couch and the electric blanket on the bed. he loved his little sister and brother, tigger and yeti, and they miss him very very much.

i'm glad i got to give buddie a wonderful final year, full of fun and great memories. buddie was a good sweet soul, yet he hated noisy trucks, and being hit by one didn't help him much at all. he lived, but was a cripple. after the leg infection got bad, i couldn't prolong his pain anymore. i hated to do it, because he was so full of life and determination, but i hated to think of him being in pain for the rest of his life, and having to take more medication just to live. he had a wonderful life with us, and he has plenty of company waiting for him, and he can run again, with all 4 legs, with the big dogs. we miss you, buddie. we love you so much. greta, jeff, tigger, yeti, woodstock.
