Buddy

On October 4, 2001, my beloved Buddy a ten year old male Golden Retriever lost his battle with cancer.

This dog was like one of my children. I grieved terribly for him. The whole family grieved as well. We kept him with us to the end. He is buried in our back yard with a proper head stone.

I knew I had to do something for him and for me in order to deal with my grief. I decided to write a book about him and fill it with the many pictures we had of him over the years. It took me awhile, the tears that came kept me from seeing the computer as I typed. But when it was done, it was a beautiful testament to a wonderful friend and companion.

I presented it to my grandchildren at Christmas.

He was born on the 4th of July in 1991.
