Frank

My dog frank died the day before thanksgiving on the 21st of november. He was around 5 years old. I'll never forget how sweet he was to me. He was one of the sweetest dogs i ever had.

When he was a puppy, he was almost going to die. Before that, another puppy had quit eating and died. After that, frank, still a puppy, started to quit eating. I wasn't going to let him just die, so i fed milk into his mouth so he would get some food in his system. He didn't die like the other pup. I believe it was a miracle that he didn't die like the other puppy.

Later on in his life, Frank died from heartworms. And it was my own lack of knowledge that could have saved his life. I didn't know that heartworms could be treated for a very inexpensive price. And that it could of been done without surgery. By the time i found all this out it was too late.

I urge you, if u still have a dog, get him or her tested ASAP to prevent suffering. Knowledge of this disease could have saved my dogs life. It can save your dogs life too.

I will always remember him. I have many memories that will remain in my heart forever.
