Chakka

My best friend Mike Brown sat with pit bull today for the last time as she was hemorraging and the vet sent her home b/c there was nothing left to do for her.

She was a special dog, as I suppose all are, but to him she was even more special because she only had one eye and even though she was a bulldog, she wasn't fierce.

She shared his sweet nature, and her sudden death caught him off guard as there were no indications that she was even sick. I'm sure he could write much more about her life, but as his best friend, I know that Mike would just want her to be remembered for bringing joy to his family.

Chakka was 12 years old.
