Endora "Boo" Cantrell

I came to be the proud "mom" of "Endora" in October of 1984. Endora was part Spitz and part Peke and she was my best friend and companion for 16 years. I lost her on November 20, 2000 to old age.

She helped me raise my 2 girls and a variety of cats. Her favorite cat is "Baby" who adopted both of us a year after I had adopted Endora. When Baby arrived she was a little bit of a thing that came up my back walk just talking up a storm. She was too little to have been naturally weaned, so Endora decided it was time to become a mother. She nursed Baby from the day she arrived and mothered her just like a good mom should. From that moment on the 2 were inseparable. When one of my daughters brought home a male kitten we didn't get him to the vet in time to stop him from impregnating Baby (who just barely was ready to be spayed). Well, Baby had her "Mom Endora" with her the entire time. When Baby went in to labor she screamed until I allowed Endora in the "birthing" room with her. From that point on Mom and Daughter birthed 4 babies. Baby would have a baby, clean it and then let her "mom" clean it even more. After all 4 kittens were born, Baby shared her birth box with her newborns and her "mom." Endora had become a "grandmother."

Until the day we lost Endora her and Baby were the best of friends. Baby and I both miss our "Boo" and we just want to say "we love you."
