Stanley Wilhelme

Our Stanley - 1987 to 18 Jan 2001

The sun was dimmed today, a light went soft. The brightness that was Stanley went home to God. We know he's at peace that he's crossed the Rainbow Bridge. But oh how we miss him.

The last eighteen months had been hard but what a fighter he was, a braver soul there never was. He loved us unconditionally and fought to stay with us.

I can see him laying with his Daddy, his vision was not good, age had seen to that but he knew the sound of his Daddy coming home and waited for him.

A sneeze for Frederick home from the fire hall, the smell of smoke always made him sneeze.

Mommy was a constant, we spent lots of time together but I wish for just a moment back with him; now the time is gone.

So very many people loved Stanley. How could you not love Stanley? He was so easy to love and so eager to love in return.

I remember that beautiful, wonderful friend that we were blessed with. His eyes spoke volumes, expressive, trusting and full of love. I picture him now on the other side running and playing with Lady, his friend that he lost a while ago. He's whole and healthy and youthful again. Content, now, except I know he waits only for us to make his heaven complete.

Someday Stanley, until then we will keep you in our hearts forever.

We love you.
