Beau


He came into our lives December 23, 1988.

A small trembling pup, shaking, unsure of his new surroundings.

He took but a few days to become master of his surroundings, he quickly became the BOSS of his territory.

He was never tempermental, except, when it came to his "Mother", she was elderly. and had problems getting around.

She was a retired educator and an only child, Beau was able to "read her mind", and act, or react, to her actions.

He, truly became the ruler of his domain.

He enjoyed full run of the house, and, took full enjoyment in being the boss of both of us.

During his 12 years on this earth, he was truly a member of the family.

On a quiet evening, June 29, 2000, he left this world, as we know it,

at my feet, he quietly and peacefully passed on to the other side.

He never suffered, or at least, never showed it.

He was laid to rest, on a grassy knoll, in the side yard where he loved to play.

We can see his resting place from the living room and kitchen, where his usually stayed.

He was buried on June 30, 2000, with his family having a brief, but, heartfelt memorial.

He, truly will be missed, his memory will last forever.

In honor of his devotion and loyalty, we will always keep him him in out hearts.
