Scotty

Scotty, My best friend my entire life. Many people say they cannot remember the earlier years of their lives. Their are certain hings I will always remember. I am 17 now, and when I got my Poodle Scotty was one of them.

I got Scotty as a birthday resent from my Aunt Nancy, and brought him home, to a warm, loving, caring home. Scotty immediately took us on as his family.

The first time we took him to the doctors, the doctor said he was a little over 4 years old already, and I had just turned 4, so I pretty much took on our birthdays as one in the same. Each and every Thanksgiving, he was there, waiting for something we had done since we had gotten him, which was give him the leftovers from everyones plates.

His love for us never died his entire 18... yes, I said 18 years of life. Poodles do not live that long normally, and at the maximum, they usually only live 14 years or so. I like to think that the only thing that kept him going was going through my teenage years.

When we first got him, my brother was a teenager, and Scotty took a liking to my brother, and slept with him every night. Later on as my brother moved out, and grew up, Scotty moved on to my sister, who was in her teenage years, sleeping with her. And for the past 9 years of his life, he took me on as my protector. He slept with me at night, knew all of my secrets, and was there for me to love and hold in some of the most difficult times of my life, and he never turned away.

His undying love and care for us will never be forgotten. I dedicate this star to him, Scotty Brown.

R.I.P Scotty - Died April 28, 2000 We will always love you, and never forget you.... -Daniel, David, Beth, Sandy
