Tori

I would like to pay tribute to my dog Tori, or as we called her Tor-Tor. She was an Australian Shepherd-Collie mix. Someone had abandoned her when she was a few months old. She was crying across the street at a dentist office and we went over to get here. We fed her and cleaned her up. That very day, we fell in love with her and she fell in love with us.

Tori was the sweetest dog. Whenever I went into the backyard or came home it was like she hadn't seen me in a month. She was so excited. She never tore up anything or bothered the cats. In fact, the cats adored her. They would always curl up to her to take a nap. She rarely barked. When she did you knew it was for a reason. She was very protective of us.

She died last July with heart congestion. She was 11 years old and would have been 12 in August. We were so blessed to have her. I miss her every day.

She was the best friend I ever had.
