August 18, 1999 to December 17, 1999
We got Gracie on October 3, 1999 for a companion and future wife of our 1 yr old Boston, Piglet. Gracie and Piglet loved each other very much and we all took very good care of her. Even though Gracie was not with us long, she found a special place in our hearts. When gracie was just about four months old on Monday, December 13, 1999 she wasn't being her normal self. I took her to the vet and she had parvo. Gracie was at the vet's for one week.
I went and saw all the time and just held her. Friday, she took a turn for the worse. She was having unassisted vomiting and diarrhea. She couldn't even hold her beautiful little head up. My husband and I could not let her suffer anymore. She died in my arms. She bought us so much joy and love and don't know what to do without her. I try to beleive that everything happens for a reason, maybe we will know one day why she had to leave us. My husband's says she was to special to be here on this earth.
