Scarlett
I would like to dedicate a star to my wonderful, sweet dog Scarlett. I had
to have her put to sleep yesterday morning at 6:40 A.M. She became sick
within days, at least she put up a good front, until she could hide her pain
no more. Within the last week she started moving very slow, and her breathing
became very heavy. When I brought her to the vet last night, the doctor gave
me some hope, but told me they would have to do chest x-ray's on her. She was
put on oxygen, and I had to leave her there so they could do the x-ray's.
At
3:00 A.M. the vet called to tell me my little angel had numerous tumors on
her lungs and surrounding her little heart, and that her time left here with
me was to be very short. I needed to set her free from the pain that had
taken over her entire being.
My sister, my husband, and I, returned to the
vet's office to say goodbye. I held her, kissed her, and said my last goodbye
to Scarlete, I stayed with her to the end, so she would not be afraid.
I will miss her so very much.
