Shadow

Shadow... You were always there for us. In the good times and the bad. You never once judged us or ask for more than our love. Cathy and I miss you so much. We miss the way you liked to play and the way you had that evil little sneer when we wrestled. We thank you for being there when we were sick or just depressed. You brightened our day and gave us comfort at night. We loved how you waited for us at the top of the steps and the way you attacked the mail when the mail man pushed it through the mail slot.

Most of all we loved how you filled our world with love and affection and never asked for any more in return. The lord must have had a good reason to take you from this world so early. But we know when we get to heavens gate, you'll be waiting for us.
