Winston

Sir Winston Reginald Dupree passed away in his sleep sometime around 6:00 p.m. on August 29, 1999. He will always be remembered and loved.

He was a very special dog. He had been a television weather dog in Arkansas in the late 1980's and became a favorite of Chelsea Clinton's when she was a little girl. He made quite a few visits to then-Governor Clinton's office and home to see Chelsea. Everybody who ever saw him just loved him. He was so beautiful and had the greatest personality.

Winston also appeared in the NBC show Rags to Riches and was a model for print ads for Sunrise Medical Company. He would go to work with me at Dick Clark Productions every day and one of the Clark's dogs, Molly, became so protective of him she wouldn't even let Dick or his wife Kari get near him. He was so roudy at times my wife Max and I used to call him a Yorkshire "Terrorist"!

I always called him my "little boy". He will be missed by his lifelong human companion David Laurell every day until the day we are reunited.
