Buffy

My wife and I lost our dog "Buffy" to cancer on Wednesday July 14th, 1999. She was a very special companion to us and we loved her more than anything in the world. Buffy was a Collie, and most kids called her Lassie. She loved everyone and everything and was the kindest, gentlest dog I've ever been around. We tried everything we could to fight the cancer but it was just to much. We visited Buffy one last time in the hospital where she spent the last week of her life that Wednesday. She was in really bad shape and I'm not sure if she knew who we were.

I don't think I've ever been so hurt as much as I was that day to see her like that. We are going to miss Buffy every day for the rest of our lives. It is comforting to know that she lived a good life, a spoiled rotten life. We made sure of that because we loved her so much. I dedicated a home page to her memory. I would like everyone to know about her and how much we love her.
