Banjo Bear
Australian Shepard
1986-1998 (12 years old)
Dear Banjo,
The hardest night in my life was the night I realized you were going to
leave me! As much as I wanted to beg you to stay, I knew you were
suffering. So, I laid down on the grass next to you and whispered I love
you in your floppy ear and told you to go home if you needed or wanted
to. After that, I still tried to get you better, but it wasn't meant to
be. The evening on the grass was our last.
Although you have been gone several months now, I still miss you and think
about you every single day. And although we lost your buddy Zachary just a
short time later, It has been a comfort to know that you both are at
Rainbow Bridge, running, playing, and yes probably even quarreling together
as you did in life. I am also ever so grateful for sending us Cheyenne
puppy, who, in no way replaces you, but gives up someone to lavish hugs and
kisses upon.
Love
Love Papa, Uncle Davey, and the Cheyenne.
