Digit

Her name was Digit born January 4, 1990 Broughton Island, NT, a little island just off the northern coast of Baffin Island. She was lame and at 3 1/2 weeks they where going to destroy her but i took her back to the health centre and did puppy physio therapy on her lame leg and within weeks she could run and play with the best of them. Due to the isolation up there we spent countless hours just being each others best friend.

We created a better history between the two of us than most people can create in a lifetime, she was my second brain and she filled my heart with love and my life with companionship. For 8 1/2 years we where each others best friend and then on May 14, 1998 i had to say goodbye to my precious Lady, and send her to Rainbow Bridge where she now waits for me, no longer ill and waiting for our times together again.

We will again walk on the land. play ball and do just everything that made us the team we once where not so very long ago. I miss her terribly, there will always be a lonely little spot in my heart that belongs only to my Digit.

I celebrate all the wonderful moments we had together and thank God for blessing me with the honour of having her as my "Best Friend".
