Bella

When I first met Bella a two year old Neapolitan Mastiff she was about to be put to sleep. She had been owned by a man who should have never had an animal. Not only was Bella 50-60 pounds under wieght She had been subjected to severe abuse at the hands of her drunken owner. I took one look at Bella and Decided right away she needed a second chance. Bella remained with me for the next two years.

Durring that time I thought with constant love attention and care , Bella might forget the first two terrible years of her life, however I know now it could never happen. She seemed to respond bit by bit favorly to her new life. But it was also clear that the effects of the first two years were still over powering and directing her behavior, exept for a few emediate family members she wold lash out in visious anger at anyone or anything.

Despite the love and care Bella was still a danger, and time was showing that that part of her was not going to change , The scares left from her previous life were to deep, And sadly a decision had to be made Bella was humanely put to sleep.

I NOW HOPE SHE FINDS THE PEACE SHE SO RICHLY DESERVES REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND -- MOMMY
