Atilla
In memory of: Atilla the Hun
Died January 9, 1996
Atilla, a black llasa of twelve years, blessed our family with happiness
and laughter. He lived with mom, dad, me and my brother in Timonium
Md. Every summer weekend we traveled to the beach with him. He loved
to sit on windows sills on Bering Rd. in Ocean City. MD and watch all
the beachgoers walk by.
He loved chewies and enjoyed laying on the floor in the living room. He
greeted us each time we came home at the end of the day. He had an
adorable underbite and looked very handsome after returning from the
groomer.
He slept under my night-table next to my bed every night-on his back
with his tummy facing up.
Atilla ("Tee-tee")made a difference in our lives and was part of our
family. He loved playing with Christmas wrapping paper on Christmas
mornings.
In 1995, we didn't have a chance to spend Christmas with Tee-tee. On
December 24, 1995, he started going down hill. He passed away due to
complications from major spine surgery on January 9, 1996. We buried
Tee-tee in our parents backyard. To this day, he is truly missed.
We have two dogs now--Alexander the Great (following the long named
theme--like Atilla the Hun) and T.J. (which stands for Tilla Jr.--he's
a white llasa) :)
Our thanks to Atilla for enriching our lives and helping us understand
how special and short life is. We will meet again and when we do, we'll
hold you tight. Til then, be good and run around in those circles
chasing your tail (you loved that tail of yours!!).
Love,
The Phipps Family
